12 Bit Wireless Pet-tolerant PIR Detector
K-980 W is a Pet-tolerant wireless PIR detector compatible with Visonic 12-bit wireless receivers. It is designed for use as an add-on to an existing hard-wired system where wiring is a problem. K-980 W provide effective security in premises where animals (dogs, cats, rodents, etc) may be present, and enables users to protect their homes while allowing their pets to move freely.
The K9-80 W detector can distinguish between human bodies and animals weighing up to 36 kg (80lb) better than any other wireless detector. This is possible thanks to Visonic's advanced patented technologies, including state-of-the-art 3D "Target Specific Imaging"™ (TSI) cylindrical optics. False alarms are minimized thanks to the detector's adjustable pulse counter, superior RFI protection and sealed sensor chamber.
The K-980 W wireless detector offers high-sensitivity coverage for areas up to 9 x 9 meters (30 x 30 ft). It is approved and available in two frequency bands according to international standards.
Featuring an easy-to-use three-position adjustment scale, surface or corner mounting options, the K-980 W can be easily implemented in a wide range of residential, office and commercial applications.
