Visonic (LSE: VSC.L; TASE: VSC.TA), the international developer and manufacturer of electronic security systems (alarms) and home management systems, is pleased to announce that it has signed a new supply agreement, with Mitteldeutsche Gasversorgung GmbH (“MITGAS”), a leading provider of gas and electricity in Germany and part of the RWE Group.

Visonic will supply MITGAS with its PowerMax^®+, one of the most advanced home security and automation platform available today. PowerMax+ with the optional PowerLink allows  householders to view real-time images of their homes from any remote internet location. This unique facility is complemented by a host of powerful capabilities including detection of smoke, gas and flooding, reliable full GSM backup capabilities, easy remote access via SMS, e-mail, mobile or regular phone or a secure web application.

Commenting, Dr Avi Shachrai, CEO and President of Visonic, said:

MITGAS is piloting the home monitoring service with its existing residential customers and will also offer it to new gas supply customers. As part of the service, MITGAS will provide customers with a full installation, monitoring and maintenance package.
