Visonic Board Change

Visonic announces that Avi Shachrai (64), President and CEO of Visonic, intends to step down from his role as President and CEO and retire from the Board with effect from 31 December 2009. He is expected to continue to work for the company as an advisor for at least the next year. Avi Barir (55), who will join Visonic on October 25, will become President and CEO of Visonic on 1 January 2010 and although he will not initially take a seat on the board a further announcement will be made at that time.
