Audio Alarm Verification

Visonic's PowerMax and PowerMaster home security systems have a built-in microphone that allows security service providers to verify alarm by calling the system and listening in on burglary sounds. Additionally, monitoring station personnel can speak to someone in the house via the built-in speakerphone. Based on the information gathered, the service provider can decide whether a response team is necessary. This helps avoid costly responses to common false alarms, such as when a window is left open, the smoke alarm is mistakenly set off while cooking or the burglar alarm is inadvertently activated during arming/disarming.
